Job Summary
As a Vice President in the Nordic Corporate Sales team, you will play a crucial role in providing Treasury & Cash Management solutions to our global Mid-Corporate clients. Your main responsibilities will include managing and developing a client/prospect portfolio, with a significant focus on acquiring new clients and expanding business opportunities. This role is based in Stockholm.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of Mid-Corporate clients, focusing on companies with revenues of $500 million and above.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Grow revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new Payments business while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate with bankers, and clients at senior and strategic levels to proactively provide integrated Payments solutions within a consultative and client-driven framework.
- Raise new solution ideas while partnering with internal product stakeholders to represent the client perspective in the development and evolution of complex products and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and legal, to negotiate deals and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Demonstrable experience in Payments sales or related areas with a proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win, and close new deals.
- Solid knowledge in cash & liquidity management products and understanding of relevant compliance and Know Your Client (KYC) processes.
- Effective selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence senior decision-makers, internal stakeholders, and peers.
- Excellent partnership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Result-oriented and able to work under pressure within tight timeframes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, or Economics related major preferred); Master’s degree preferred, or extensive experience performing successfully in a similar role.
- Exposure to various functions including coverage, sales, client service, and operations preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The working language is English, but ability to communicate in Swedish is an advantage.
