What you will do
The Program Manager will help shape the solution from the Requirement phase through to go-live
by providing leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs
to time and project quality criteria. The Program Manager also ensures adherence to defined
Product life cycle management practices, provides Program Management mentoring, performs
Gate Reviews and reinforces the enterprise knowledge management through the communication
of lessons learned and best practices development.
- Drive the planning and execution of releases from concept to GA. Assess critical paths and dependencies for developing and shipping products and facilitate discussions between delivery team of Product Managers, Engineering, QE and other functional teams throughout all release phases.
- Overall accountability for the program execution. Includes compliance and governance, release decisions and communicating to senior leadership.
- Build and run, with the team, the release/Sprint master plan (schedule, dependencies, risks, etc.). Use your technical background/product knowledge to proactively identify risks, issues and drive their resolution
- Manage cross team dependencies
- Be the expert on release lifecycle processes and champion best practices, metrics and high-quality standards with your delivery team
- Independently and accurately report on the state of your release to executive stakeholders. Be the trusted speaker on the state of release in key checkpoint reviews.
- Assist teams in establishing clear commitments to stakeholders and help hold them accountable
- Drive horizontal initiatives related to development process improvements and any project management tools adoption
What you should bring
- Strong understanding of managing the life-cycle of large-scale programs and projects in Product organizations.
- Highly flexible, and adaptable. Be able to effectively juggle between multiple activities and priorities
- Evidenced ability to build support for ideas; Ability to influence highly intelligent and highly technical team members.
- Experience modifying and/or defining processes
- Mastered Agile methods and practices(Scrum and Kanban).
- Self-driven and with a general interest in learning new things.
- At least 3 years experience in project management methodologies, tools. Development/Testing experience would be advantageous.
