Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with the Endobariatrics Manager in the strategic development and product vision of the franchise in Mexico.
  • Identify key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that have the greatest effect on use of company products by meeting with existing and potential customers. Classify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care. Determine where our therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
  • Development of value proposals for clear positioning of the different products in the country and different regions.
  • Develop and enhance relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution.
  • In charge of leading the Endobariatric and closure education strategy in Mexico, tropicalizing the region's strategy and seeking the most optimal execution.
  • Closeness to the main medical associations linked to therapies and development of collaboration strategies.
  • Identify key patient journey and referral networks opportunities and strategies for these therapies - from referral, fellows, nurses, technician, purchaser, etc.
  • Portfolio, promotions, pricing, account penetration strategies and Forecast analysis will be also part of the role in collaboration with the Endobariatrics Manager and Team.
  • Lead Market Therapy analysis: Competitors, behavior patterns, prices, portfolio, pains, therapy tendencies, step by step techniques, clinical data, objection management.
  • Collaboration with Marketing in the development of solutions and materials for use in the field, courses, workshops, talks, etc.
  • Collaboration in the development of Digital Marketing Strategy of the franchise and within the physicians that promote these therapies.
  • In-person support to regions of the country with high-impact activities for the division. Additionally, there may be support activities for other countries in the region.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, marketing or related field.
  • Mexico City based.
  • 3 years developing marketing and educational plans or at least 5 years as a field clinical specialist (Medical Devices).
  • Willing to work in surgical areas and endoscopic procedures.
  • Experience in areas of endoscopy, surgery or bariatrics will be considered as a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in developing educational plans, developing workshops, managing KOLs, and fluid communication with clinical specialists.
  • With knowledge of marketing tools, development of value propositions and product positioning strategies.
  • Business acumen; Understanding P&L, Budget Managing, Global strategy, Customer centricity, analytics, and ROI.
  • Collaboration on the development and follow-up of strategic projects for the different B2B, B2C and B2G channels.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel (25% of the time).
