Your role:
  • Co-managing the operations of the R&D function in the I&S Business Units, including course correction required to stay on track with financial and non-financial performance targets.

  • Supporting strategic decisions through sound business analysis (bus. modeling, opportunity & risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.) and interaction with business stakeholders.

  • Monitoring the innovation assets on the balance sheet of the Business Units and the related Organizational Reporting Units (ORUs).

  • Identifying risks and opportunities to current financial projections and taking corrective actions where needed (e.g., margin improvement, cost improvements, productivity improvement).

  • Coordinating the innovation portfolio management process together with the R&D and strategy leaders.

  • Conducting investment business case reviews.

  • Managing relationships with other finance pillars, gathering inputs, and jointly ensuring financial control.

  • Ensuring business integrity: driving adherence to GBP, revenue recognition. Monitoring and controlling functional processes and their execution for ICS/SOX compliance. Maintaining proper financial documentation.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:
  • A curious mindset with excellent communication skills.

  • Business savvy and political understanding to be able to interact with General Managers of businessesand functions.

  • Regularly interacts with executives and major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills,such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior-level leadersregarding matters of significance to the organization.

  • Proven track record in the ability to balance speed and accuracy, allowing for continued speed indecision-making and execution.

  • Relentless drive for results and proven leadership in driving performance.

  • Frequently interact with functional peer groups. Interaction typically requires the ability to gain thecooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects orschedules.

  • Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of thecompany.

  • A proven track record in managing multi-functional teams, laterally and hierarchically, towards acommon goal.

  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • 5-8 years or more of progressive working experience and roles in, e.g., Finance, FP&A, financialcontrol, management reporting, and analysis, preferably within an international environment.

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting or related studies.
