We require an Apprentice Surveyor to work with our surveyors in carrying out topographical/Laser Scanning/Deformation Monitoring surveys for various engineering projects in the market sectors of Airports, Highways, Railways, Environmental and Industrial Manufacture and Development. You will be trained in how to use the latest surveying equipment and receive structured on-the-job training.
Responsibilities:
- Use of survey equipment to capture site data (full training to be provided).
- Liaison with other members of the Geomatics team to enable work to be delivered to time, budget and quality.
- Communication of project related issues to the relevant Senior Land Surveyor and Geomatics Project Manager.
- Assistance in the production of survey drawings and reports. - Assistance in the production of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- A minimum of 120 UCAS points including 2 A-Levels at Grade C or above in English and Maths
- A flexible and proactive self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills
- The ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study priorities
- Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems
- Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements
