As Brand Technical Specialist, you will work with Hybrid Cloud Integration Sales Representatives across the country to support the presales technical activities.
You are responsible for evangelizing IBM IT Automation portfolio across industries. It includes understanding customer requirements (known and unknown), designing an appropriate fit-for-purpose solution, doing necessary demos/ Proof of Concepts (PoCs), detailing the bill of material, presenting business benefits and ensuring a grasp of Compete when it comes to the proposed solution offering.
What you’ll do- Proactively take initiatives to evangelize technology offerings with customers, solving their business problems.
- Understand said/unsaid customer requirements, positioning IBM IT Automation offering to large enterprise customers and solutioning the requirements with appropriate architecture and sizing
- Be a trusted Tech Advisor to customers helping them build their Technology strategy to fulfil business priorities. Help customers develop architecture blueprint to solution design & presentation, sizing & BOMs ensuring Tech wins.
- Collaborate with cross brand teams across IBM by exchanging inputs to ensure that an overall optimal solution is created for the customer
- Establish a clear value proposition of proposed solution offering with customers ensuring ROI and value realization.
- Responsible to perform personalized demonstrations and proof-of-concepts of the proposed solution offering, ensuring success criteria are met and tech win established.
- Responsible to prepare Return on investment or business case for the customer, justifying investment asks.
- Have continually updated knowledge of competitive analysis ensuring focus on uniquely differentiating IBM offering in the market.
- Work with cross-functional teams like customer success & delivery, participate in reviews etc. to ensure best of customer support & delivery from IBM for sold solutions.
- Responsible for managing Request for information/Request for proposal process including attending pre-bid meetings, working with customer and partners, preparing ‘design-to-comply & win’ compliance & technical solution.
- Take initiative w.r.t creating reusable technical assets and contribute to larger organizational success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 7-8 years of software technical selling experience in enterprise sales and/or BFSI, Govt, Telco is preferred.
- Have a strong hands on skills in the space of IT Automation (Observability, AI Ops, Application resource management, Application lifecycle management, FinOps).
- Demonstrate knowledge of running hands on POT workshop, ability to constrict POC based on customer requirements
- Have a growth-mindset with curiosity to learn and solve problems
- Have ‘Getting Things done’ attitude towards day-to-day work.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Tech Sales experience in ISA preferred.
- Previously working experience in a brand-name international technology or consulting company is an advantage.
- Highly self-directed, motivated and positive individuals with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
