In this role, you will be responsible for leading a large organization, managing department heads who own data center infrastructure including the operational availability of network and server systems at scale.The ideal candidate for this role will understand data center IT infrastructure and Amazon Web Services and understand how the two coexist. If this understanding is contextual you will be served well by your experience.Key job responsibilities- Attainment of organizational performance goals and objectives relating to safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency in support of our data center operations.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
- Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals.- Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across the globe.
- Experience in successful in-sourcing and/or outsourcing specific task balancing internal skillsets with frugality.

- 4+ years of technical team management experience
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Knowledge of information technology infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices
- • 4+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience.
