The
Wastewater Process Specialist/Engineer
The candidate will:
- Work with Jacobs’ global team of experts to support municipal wastewater treatment planning, modelling, design, construction, and facility operation projects based on established standards and software.
- Work with a variety of treatment processes that may include a combination of conventional and advanced chemical, physical, and biological processes such as coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, secondary biological treatment, nutrient removal and recovery, membrane systems, disinfection, and solids handling/stabilization processes.
- Use their expertise in process modelling, water chemistry and quality, physical and biological treatment processes and equipment, and applicable regulations to lead process engineering teams in the production of meaningful solutions to local and national project challenges.
- Develop of engineering studies, reports, drawings, specifications, contract documents, proposals, and cost estimates with limited direction; and provide construction administration services and field engineering services during construction as needed.
- Represent Jacobs at select events and conferences.
