Technology You'll Use
- IBM Assembler, VSAM, CICS
- Develop new features & enhancements.
- Collaborate, and develop programming environment with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
- Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks).
- Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
- Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
- Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
- Be an amazing performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace.
- Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations.
- 10+ years of experience developing enterprise software products using IBM Mainframe Technologies.
- Excellent coding and design skills in IBM Assembler is mandatory.
- Experience with CICS and VSAM is mandatory.
- Additional skills with Java, C, C++, and IBM Databases is beneficial
- Any experience with cloud services is beneficial
