Job Responsibilities:

As a Quantitative Trader within the Americas Rates team, you will leverage your strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, along with your deep understanding of financial markets. Your role will involve the development, testing, and implementation of quantitative trading strategies, with a focus on risk management and return maximization.

  • Develop and implement quantitative trading models, algorithms, and strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial markets, instruments, and data.
  • Backtest and optimize trading strategies using historical data and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain trading systems.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
  • Perform risk analysis and implement risk management procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of new trading ideas and research initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
  • Proven experience in quantitative trading or financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and derivatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in generating of trading signal with proven pnl targets

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience with high-frequency trading or algorithmic trading.
  • Knowledge of financial databases and data management tools.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Proficiency in financial software packages (e.g., MATLAB, R, Python libraries).
