In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating program coordination for the AMER Central Commissioning team. You will be involved in the full life cycle of construction/commissioning projects within your assigned region, including activity from the start of the construction project through project execution and close out. You will work with highly-motivated experts from Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to complete key deliverables required to build AWS data centers. You will coordinate with AMER CxC’s from other regions to maintain consistency across the program.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Walk job sites in uneven terrain
Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration with potential for night and weekends
Perform physical tasks throughout the day without becoming overly tired
Ability to manipulate small wires and objects easily
Work in a noisy environment
Work in environments that are colder or hotter than a normal office environmentAdditional Job Requirements
· Ability and willingness to travel domestic and internationally for up to 20% of the year.
· Required to provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.Key job responsibilities
- Managing and tracking Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
- Facilitating Work Order (WO) and Change Order (CO) requests
- Submitting Purchase Requests (PRs), as needed
- Track Purchase Order (PO) status
- Deep dive invoicing issues
- Maintaining and tracking the status of contracts, budgets, and spend
- Implementing and maintaining reports and dashboards- Writing and maintaining internal and external training material and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ Years Construction contract management and/or construction-related accounting and/or vendor management
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Procore
- Solid organizational skills, including prioritization, and time management
