Your key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in the Human Resources functional area.
  • Support the delivery of all aspects of HR and Organizational Design services throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle, including:
    • HR due diligence and red flag reports
    • Day 1 HR function readiness
    • HR TSA services design and delivery
    • Operating model and organizational design
    • Talent planning and transitioning
    • HR project management support
  • Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve a high-quality deliverables and within expected timeframes, working mostly independently. Monitor progress, manage risk and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Support business development activities by understanding Ernst & Young and its service lines and assisting in presenting ways to serve clients.
  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up-to-date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
  • Work as part of client engagement teams to deliver professional services.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and develop and enhance collateral, tools, techniques. methodologies to build and enhance HR M&A offering with the practice.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel for client projects; willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in any one or more of the following M&A enablement areas would be an asset, though not mandatory: HR due diligence, Day 1 HR function readiness, operating model and organizational design, talent planning and transitioning, HR TSA services design and delivery.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
