Standardize daily management system, TAKT (hour-by-hour), and Demand Planning to drive visibility of line health and production abnormalities.
Train, Coach and Develop Operations Management to Institutionalize Lean methodology with the hourly employees to make Lean a core part of Coils culture and improve overall site engagement and adoption of changes.
Drive improved product quality and compliance by identifying manufacturing issues, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.
Drive effective root cause analysis and problem solving to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met with quality and in a timely, cost-conscious fashion.
Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development and QMS Design Transfer execution.
Drive Manufacturing Process Engineering initiatives across Coils while providing business-wide impact and enabling sharing of best practices across the Global Supply Chain.
Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution, and final analysis and acceptance.
Drive continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross- functional teams including Operations and Quality Assurance.
Develop and Execute action plan(s) to reduce or eliminate defects. This will be accomplished by leading, influencing and doing.
Provide Lean leadership and simplification to key areas of supply chain.
Work with the operating leaders to develop strategic deployment planning as well as specific goals and priorities that drive lean principles and concept across the business.
Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization.
Coach Lean Manufacturing Leaders and plant leadership in the use of Lean tools and the simplification methodology to drive significant business impact.
Facilitate Kaizens, value stream mapping sessions, and activities to improve customer satisfaction, reduce cycle-time, and achieve real business results.
Conduct regular value stream reviews with Manufacturing Leaders to assure the team drives significant and measurable business impact.
Communicate progress, status and issues to the business leaders - Seek, share and institutionalize best practices.
Lead the development of Kaizen roadmap, value stream mapping, 5S implementation, DMS, and other lean tools to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Analyze key performance metrics (KPI), identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement in cost, quality, and efficiency.
Work closely with operations, quality, engineering, and other departments and serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization.
Develop and coach lean skills and competency at all levels of the organization fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
BS or BA Degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Lean Certified – preferably at Black Belt or Master Black Belt with examples of recent, successful project execution, and problem solving with VSM, Kaizen, A3 as part of an extensive Lean toolbox.
Recent experience leveraging a wide variety of tools from Lean and Six Sigma (VOC, facilitation of cross functional teams, Pareto, fishbone, Pugh, PICK, Pull, SIPOC, 5S, process mapping in Visio, Miro, etc.).
Experience in visual management such as creation of digital dashboards (Spotfire, Smartsheet, Excel, AHA, Clarity PPM).
Experience Managing & Leading Enterprise Company, Site, or Function (GM, Dir, VP, COO).
Experience in influence without authority.
Recent experience in coaching and mentoring at all levels across an organization in scrum framework and Lean methodologies with measurable results.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.
