As an Executive Director in the CDAO Strategy team, you will own a portfolio of strategy initiatives to address complex problems at the forefront of the industry. You will also serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner for senior leaders, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead high-priority strategy projects to address complex problems at the forefront of data and AI in financial services, with a focus on enabling business outcomes.
- Develop and deliver executive-level strategy narratives, deliverables, and analyses that articulate the value, impact, and direction of AI and data priorities.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, applying leading practices to evaluate and refine the firmwide AI and data strategy, ensuring alignment with firmwide goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner for senior leaders, providing strategic insights and recommendations that drive data and AI innovation and transformation.
- Guide strategic thinking and problem-solving for strategy project teams, provide coaching to strategy team members and managers, and cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of strategy experience from a premier management consulting firms and/or another internal strategy group.
- Outstanding ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem solving approaches.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and ability to craft compelling narratives and materials that resonate with executive audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders and influence decision-making.
- Proven ability in providing oversight and guidance on cross-functional strategy projects, as well as coaching and development to strategy managers and team members
- Deep familiarity with AI and data, and ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies to enable business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, finance, math, engineering, computing, or a related field, with a strong analytical background.
- Experience in financial services across consumer and business banking, wealth and asset management and/or corporate and investment banking
