As a member of our Program Management Team, you will Lead a team of Construction Managers overseeing the delivery of projects across all sectors within the re-build program. You will play an integral role in the development and deployment of construction teams to align to the Construction Management scope of services on each project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop a Program level Construction Management strategy supporting cost and schedule management, claims management, logistics, workforce deployment.
- Lead the development and resourcing of the Construction Management function across the program.
- Review and comment on detailed construction plans, schedules, and timelines to support the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor construction activities reviewing and reporting on compliance against design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Advise constructability, materials management, equipment, and personnel, to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Interface with Program Supply Chain & Logistics Leads to develop an integrated delivery strategy supporting opportunities for bulk procurement and the implementation of modern methods of construction.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and executed.
- Support construction operations by resolving any issues or challenges that arise to keep the project on track.
- Monitor & report on the implementation of Health and Safety protocols.
- Track and report on contractor adherence to Schedule & Budget at a program level.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate or address them proactively.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve construction processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve better outcomes
