What You’ll Do
  • Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated
  • Drive negotiation for piece price and product development to ensure that Tesla’s pricing meets best-landed-cost expectations as well as Supplier Industrialization standards of Best-In-Class quality
  • Develop key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless new product introduction(NPI) and mass production scaling
  • Communicate sourcing strategies effectively across stakeholders, influencing decision-making at the executive level while ensuring alignment across engineering, finance, and supply chain teams
  • Deeply understand semiconductor lead times, fabrication processes and constraints in global supply chains
  • Monitor current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges & opportunities
  • Monitor PCBA industry trends, including material availability, pricing shifts, and emerging technologies
  • Access global supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for Tesla high-volume production needs
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement with a focus on PCBA or electronics manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability
  • Excellent data-driven decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable impact
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and levels
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and legal team to drive alignment and execute sourcing strategies
  • Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring strategic collaboration and mutual growth
  • Managing various aspects of core PCBA manufacturing, material planning, strategic sourcing, inventory control, should cost analysis, risk management
  • Deep understanding of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, through-hole, testing, and final assembly)
  • Familiarity with key semiconductor components in automotive applications such as MCUs, SoCs, power electronics(MOSFETs, LGBTs) etc.
  • Ability to thrive a fast-paced, high pressure environment with right deadlines
