Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer (Electrical) who will define data collections and requirements in order to monitor the performance of our PCBA and PCBA supplier base.- Own the development and implementation of data collection methodologies and requirements to monitor and optimize the performance of our PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and PCBA supplier base.
- Utilize data collection and analytics to inform strategic supplier quality management decisions.
- Utilize statistical methods and data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of quality issues, driving proactive quality improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Own and lead Kuiper supplier quality management activities including requirements definition, qualification, production process validation, receiving/source inspection, CAPA, metrics reporting, and continuous improvement- Lead external audit teams
- Influence supplier investments to reduce risk and improve delivered quality of components
- Establish and monitor supplier mechanisms for verifying production processes remain in control
- Analyze and improve supplier quality metrics
- Represent Kuiper Supplier Quality in cross-functional initiatives
- Travel as needed to accomplish program objectivesExport Control Requirement:

- Participates in product development teams as owner of supplier quality system requirements- Builds and enforces implementation of the Kuiper Quality System
- Serves as the face of Quality for PCBA Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) suppliers communicating expectations and resolving issuesRedmond, WA, USA

- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
