Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop software for embedded, distributed compute systems for robotics. Write design documents for new features for a software platform for embedded distributed robotics systems. Attend cross-functional software design reviews and provide technical feedback. Meet with technical leads in the organization to propose new software designs. Design and implement new features for a software platform for embedded robotics systems. Review source code changes from peers in C and C++. Develop safety critical systems using the V-model process. Work with multi-threaded, multi-core real-time operating systems. Perform system integration and software integration testing on embedded hardware systems. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 - $256,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • Experience and/or education must include:
  • Embedded Systems Development
  • C or C++ Software Development
  • Real-time Systems
  • Git
