You'll be a hands-on technologist with a background in DevOps. You'll help manage our SaaS operations, with a focus on supporting customers. You’ll be part of our engineering organization, working side-by-side with developers and QA in an agile environment. Your mission will be uptime, performance and efficiency.

As a Performance Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

Investigating and mitigating incidents, as part of an on-call rotation.

Defining and implementing DevOps procedures and best practices.

Improving our operational efficiency.

Supporting root cause analysis. Benchmark, analyze, report, and recommend improvements to the systems and application infrastructure.

Participating in technology research and support activities.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have experience supporting SaaS application infrastructure, analyzing and monitoring complex distributed systems.

Have experience administering a modern Linux distribution.

Have an understanding of Internet fundamentals, like TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.

Have experience with at least one major cloud provider, e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.

Have experience in scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python or Node).

Have experience with a database back-end, ideally PostgreSQL.

Have working experience on container technology – Kubernetes/Docker.

Have excellent understanding of vulnerability management and security standards.
