Key job responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
* Collaborate with product managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap, aligning with the organization's goals for standardization and automation.
* Spearhead the development of GenAI and machine learning initiatives, to enhance plan forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLANet with other financial systems.
* Drive adoption of PLANet across North America and European teams, working closely with finance stakeholders to ensure the platform meets their needs.
* Contribute to the development of the team's technical strategy and long-term vision for PLANet.
* Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
