Job Description
This candidate will take on the role of a lead analyst supporting the Executive Decision Support function within the USPB & Wealth Business Treasury team. Primary areas of focus and responsibility will include:
- Providing analytical support on Treasury matters to all product lines across USPB & Wealth to help drive alignment of business goals with the firm-wide objectives
- Producing executive-level presentation materials, with a focus on distilling down complex problems or concepts into impactful analyses for presentation and decision making in high profile senior forums
- Implementing frameworks to provide visibility on key balance sheet, capital, and profitability metrics to support senior management in Treasury and the business
- Developing analytical tools and capabilities to convey implications of strategic recommendations on business performance and review/challenge forecasts
- The candidate will gain broad exposure to business drivers and strategy, balance sheet dynamics, transfer pricing mechanics, interest rate risk management, and liquidity characteristics
- The candidate will have an opportunity to work with partners across Treasury, Finance, and the USPB & Wealth businesses
- In addition, the candidate will also have an opportunity to develop firsthand knowledge of Citi's financial data flow and key processes (monthly actuals, short-term and long-term forecasting) through a Business Treasury lens
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Finance and Treasury. Consumer bank and/or wealth management business experience is a plus. Specific qualifications include:
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving capacity within a dynamic environment
- Strength in efficiently managing large datasets and extracting critical insights
- Ability to concisely communicate analytical objectives, observations and relevance of findings across the organization in written, visual, and verbal forms
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Proven record of execution and proficiency at managing multiple projects and work streams
- Experience with Citi’s financial systems and financial data infrastructure a plus
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a Treasury, Finance or business product management role
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or Mathematics; MBA is a plus
