About the Role

We are looking for software engineers with deep expertise in NLP / GenAI and end-to-end experience launching large-scale AI models in production.

• Develop creative solutions and build prototypes to business problems using algorithms based on machine learning, statistics, and optimization, and work with engineering/product to deploy those algorithms and create impact in production.
• Drive clarity and solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches.
• Propose and own data analysis (including modeling, coding, analytics, and experimentation) to drive business insight and facilitate decisions.

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----

Basic qualifications:

• Ph.D., MS, or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field OR 5 years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 2 years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go)
  • Training using data structures and algorithms
  • Knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of machine learning

• Note the 2-year total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research,or similar (OR some combination of these). The years of specialized experience are not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated.

• Experience with end-to-end development of Generative AI projects
• Knowledge of the latest research in Generative AI and NLP
• Experience developing and deploying ML models at large scale
• Machine Learning Software such as Tensorflow/Pytorch, Caffe, Scikit-Learn, or Spark MLLib

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$185,000 per year - USD$205,500 per year.
