We’re hiring a talented Senior Software Engineering Manager to help us build a world class developer platform to fuel the Snowflake Data Cloud. As a Sr. Software Engineering Manager in team, you will lead and expand our distributed engineering team. Together with industry-wide experts in distributed systems, cross-cloud development and engineering excellence, you will evolve Snowflake to grow into a fully fledged Application Platform.
- 7+ years of software engineering management experience.
- 2+ years of experience of managing other engineering managers and leaders.
- Strong passion for making developers highly productive.
- A passion for technology and end-to-end ownership mindset to support your engineering team wherever needed.
- Excellent problem solving skills, and strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Outstanding written and oral English language skills.
- Ability to work on-site at our San Mateo or Bellevue office.
- Experience building compute infrastructure at large scale.
- Experience working with developer SDKs, APIs and client libraries.
- Experience building ML / AI platforms and infrastructure.
The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $235,000 - $368,000.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
