Philips Senior Purchasing Manager

In this role, you are responsible for:

- Managing overall assurance of supply for all Ultrasound material in accordance with Ultrasound SIOP and NPI projects

- Providing support of AOS with partner factories

- Being accountable for Ultrasound raw (purchased) material inventory $’s and days of supply

- Developing & monitoring activities for the operational deployment of initiatives

- Managing escalations and operational activities with supplier partners, as needed

- Providing guidance and support to NPI programs with pre-release supply (prototype to production ramp-up)

- Managing Supplier on-time delivery performance (GSRS score) and supply levels

- Developing policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities

- Monitoring the cost, schedule and performance against goals and objectives

- Coordinating purchasing activities working with cross-functional departments to maintain inventories at desired levels

- Reviewing and approving high dollar purchases up to a specified dollar amount

- Negotiating major contracts and logistics agreements involving large dollar amounts

- Chairing weekly Open work order review to ensure none age >60 days

• Support internal customers and Special projects as required

- 7 + years of purchasing experience

- Experience with ERP: SAP/Oracle

- Regulated industry experience is a plus

- Excellent communication and people skills: ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
