Key Responsibility
- Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for D365 implementations, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Project Execution: Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure that projects remain within financial constraints.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive resolution to minimize impact on project success.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including business analysts, developers, and consultants, to achieve project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that D365 solutions are delivered to a high standard, meeting client requirements and industry best practices.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, including status reports, risk assessments, and issue resolution.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects.
- D365 Expertise: Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management) and best practices for implementation and configuration.
- Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, delivering on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Leadership: Effective leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals) are advantageous.
