RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE* Building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications* Improving reliability, quality, and time-to-market* Measurement and optimization of system performance* Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward, getting ahead of our customers’ needs, getting people motivated to transform, innovate and continually improve
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with designing and developing globally distributed resilient applications
- Experience producing with at least one JVM based language
- Experience with testing patterns for producing high quality code (unit/integration testing)
- Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
- Experience supporting mission-critical and highly available systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
- 6+ years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with both relational and no-sql databases
- Experience designing robust web APIs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
