Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, GoLang or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in software design, development, and delivery experience using a structured programming language.

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
  This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, GoLang, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java,GoLang, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices with communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Knowledge of and/or subject matter expertise in REST, service reliability, Security, Encryption and Authentication.
  
• Experience with
  • agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
    
  • Virtualization technologies and Cloud technologies.
    
  • Storage technologies.
    
  • building high scale and reliable systems.

• Design and implement new features and enhancements for Azure Storage migration services using best practices and industry standards.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across multiple software components.
• Optimize and improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of the software.
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and customers to gather requirements, provide feedback, and deliver solutions.
• Lead and mentor engineers and provide technical guidance and direction.
