As a Senior Fire Alarm Field Service Technician
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor & Matrix manager to a Project Manager for new installs, and you’ll support our clients in the .
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission Honeywell fire alarm systems according to specifications and industry standards
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations
- Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting electronic components and replacing faulty parts
- Perform regular testing and inspections of fire alarm systems to verify their proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Provide technical support to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on system usage
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and customer support teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to clients
- Acquire security and other clearances as required by customer
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience working within a commercial construction or commercial field service environment
- NICET I, (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies)
- Ability to program Fire Alarm panels, troubleshoot, conduct repairs, and work independently
- Ability to travel at least an hour within the desired work area
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell (car provided)
