Develop solution-oriented content that articulates our value proposition to target buyers and markets and our differentiation in the marketplace.
Drive the launch process for solutions and products, including content creation, analyst outreach, and enablement of the sales and customer success teams.
Develop an intimate understanding of our customers and their most pressing business challenges through market interactions, research and feedback loops.
Analyze the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to reinforce BMC’s competitive differentiation.
Lead go-to-market execution for our solutions and influence how we prioritize and win target markets, product categories, and buyer segments
Develop marketing content to support the entire customer adoption lifecycle, including assets for the communications, demand gen, inside sales, direct sales, and customer success teams. Assets will include presentations, white papers, solution briefs, web content, videos, and customer stories.
Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to develop programs to drive demand and grow the sales pipeline.
Develop strong partnerships and processes across the organization to enable strategic decision-making.
Support awareness and thought leadership goals; support AR/PR and awareness activities including representing BMC at trade shows, industry events and other thought leadership forums.
Represent BMC externally at conferences and in customer meetings in a credible and compelling manner.
Engage with technology partners in the ecosystem to create the integration and GTM synergies that can expand our growth rate, and increase relevance in our customer environments, and provide competitive advantages.
Requirements:
7+ years of successful progressive experience with at least 5 years in the DevOps space and a strong skillset in content marketing/content creation
Strong experience in digital and content marketing, including email marketing campaigns, collateral, case studies, podcast production, web marketing, and SEO
Outstanding analytical ability and very strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze data while identifying next steps to address any gaps or weaknesses
Must demonstrate strong curiosity for new marketing trends and best practices that apply to BMC’s target market
Strategic thinker with the capacity to execute on a detailed level with a passion for success
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects
Knowledge and experience in successful inbound and social media marketing
Professional team player with strong leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills
BS/BA degree required
