Your impact

The Junior Treasury Analyst will assist with day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, financial analysis, and compliance tasks, while gaining valuable exposure to the financial instruments and banking operations of the organization.

A particular focus will be placed on managing bank guarantees, ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and supporting banking operations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Bank Guarantee Management:

• Prepare, process, and track applications for issuing, amending, and renewing bank guarantees to support project execution.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., project managers, legal, and finance teams) to gather and verify required documentation.

• Liaise with banking partners to facilitate the issuance of guarantees, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

• Maintain detailed records of all bank guarantees, including tracking expiry dates,renewals, associated costs and filing the copy of the guarantee on Treasury share point.

• Provide regular reporting and analysis on guarantee utilization, exposure, and performance.

KYC Compliance:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for KYC documentation with banking partners.

• Collect, validate, and submit KYC documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank mandates.

• Monitor upcoming KYC deadlines, ensuring timely renewals and updates.

• Maintain organized and audit-ready records of all KYC submissions and approvals.

• Stay updated on regional regulatory changes and adapt processes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Bank Account Management:

• Coordinate the opening and closing of regional bank accounts to align with operational and project needs.

• Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted for account setup,modification, or closure.

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of bank accounts, including signatories and account details.

• Work with the GBS Treasury team to ensure all the Treasury processes are followed and save the documentation on Treasury share point.

Cash and Liquidity Management:

• Assist in forecasting short-term and long-term cash flow requirements.

• Support intercompany funding transfers and cash pooling arrangements to improve efficiency.

• Act as a key liaison for banking operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.

Treasury Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on bank guarantees and KYC compliance.

• Assist in preparing financial models, treasury performance metrics, and ad-hoc analysis for management.

• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate and timely data and documentation.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or a related field.

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools.

• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Internships or prior exposure to treasury, banking, or finance functions are a plus.

• Familiarity with financial instruments like bank guarantees and KYC processes is advantageous.
