Duties: Create, proof, and implement technical designs and development of Abinitio graphs. Conduct plans to extract, transform and load (“ETL”) data from various sources based on the business requirements. Maintain up to date documentation and rely on extensive knowledge of Abinitio, Oracle, Unix and scripting languages to design applications and solutions. Execute engineering design and development activities in support of automated processing of corporate action events occurring in markets across the globe. Build and test these applications using test cases and test plans to carry out testing and verification activities. Develop utilities and data processing services as well as associated back-end database structures to ensure scalable, well-monitored and stable operations. Design and implement engineering best practices covering performance tuning, automated testing, and monitoring solutions. Execute end of vendor software upgrades and disaster recovery. Ensure effective and repeatable processes exist to build, package, deploy code from development, testing and subsequent production deployment. Engage and work alongside our business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide engineering level support to business. Manage process streams assigned and work with vendor teams to assign tasks, manage and report status. Develop strategic plans to migrate the applications from Ab initio to Talend platform. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering (any) or related field and 3 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, ETL Developer, or related position involving Ab initio and ETL standards and architecture. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Shell scripts, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java, C; Oracle; Mysql; Analysis, detection, and prediction of data integration issues in the data warehouse; and Autosys, Control M. Wage Range: $139,464 to $151,727
