Please review the following job description:
A first line of defense risk professional leading a team within the Enterprise Controls and Change Office, in the execution and support reporting of the risk control self-assessment (RCSA). Driving effective risk management practices within the specific organization, this role is responsible for leading the teams that execute and provide expertise of the RCSA program framework, including but not limited to process alignment, accurate documentation of key risks, controls and mitigation actions. Utilize risk expertise to support the development and maturation of second line risk programs in alignment with regulatory expectations while balancing demands on capacity to execute program requirements successfully. Participate in discussions with first, second- and third-line risk leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute on RCSA framework and associated assessment unit changes to operational process, risks and controls in support of all business units across the enterprise. Provide leadership, monitoring and governance over risk control self-assessment, with awareness of cross program dependencies.
3. Influence, participate in the development and maturation of the firm’s risk programs to meet with regulatory expectations.
4. Serve as a subject matter expert for ORM and ERM programs, providing effective challenge as necessary to program updates, changes. Participate in all applicable working groups for the risk programs.6. Act as a conduit between first line teammates and second line risk program owners/risk partners.
7. Deliver/Influence recommendations for updates to relevant policies and procedures for risk program execution.
8. Establish working relationships with line of business leaders and second line, third line of defense risk partners.
9. Communicate and present materials in various leadership forums, committees.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or science/academic field, or equivalent education and related training or experience.
2. 10+ years of risk management leadership experience in financial services or related field, and/or equivalent education, training and experience.
3. 8+ years of leadership experience in resiliency and disaster recovery.
4. Broad risk and regulatory knowledge with an emphasis on: Credit, Market, Liquidity, Compliance, Operational, Reputation and Strategic Risks.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to think critically and strategically, multi-task, and drive change.
7. Strong quantitative, governance, and analytic abilities.
8. Ability to provide effective challenge to senior levels of leadership.
9. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
10. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent science/academic field.
2. Financial Risk Manager (FRM)/Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent advanced risk certification.
