Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Category Strategy and Market Analysis:
- Develop and maintain category-specific strategies and plans.
- Conduct market research to identify and assess risks and opportunities.
- Forecast demand for Mobile Devices & Accessories.
Supplier Management and Contract Negotiation:
- Establish contract standards for the supported category.
- Work cross-functionally to support the negotiation of key contracts.
- Incorporate technical specifications and requirements.
Collaborative Innovation and Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Drive collaborative innovation with internal stakeholders, supply chain, and suppliers.
- Interface with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
- Bridge the gap between business objectives and technical requirements.
Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using data analytics.
- Track category and supplier performance.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Cost Management and Spend Solutions Strategies:
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop tail spend management strategies to reduce vendor proliferation.
- Leverage technological platforms for efficient buying channel management.
Job Contribution:
- Apply broad business knowledge and strategic insight to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
- Lead critical, high-impact projects and design/implement innovative business strategies.
- Consult senior leadership and influence executive decisions.
- Serve as a mentor and assist others with challenging issues.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or advanced degree desired in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Typically, 7+ years of professional experience in the relevant category.
- Strong focus on procurement supply chain management and category management in highly technical fields.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale initiatives, successful supplier negotiation, and relationship management, and cost-saving initiatives desired.
Location:
- Preferred: Dallas, TX.
- Secondary: Atlanta, GA; Bedminster, NJ; Arlington Heights, IL (supply chain hubs).
Compensation:
- Dallas, TX; Arlington Heights, IL; Bedminster, NJ: $143,800 - $215,800 USD annually.
- Atlanta, GA: $128,400 - $192,600 USD annually.
- Starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
