What You’ll Do:
  • Leads communications aspects of the quarterly results cycle, including drafting the CEO earnings script.
  • Monitors and analyzes industry and market trends on an ongoing basis, as well as competitor activities and earnings releases, to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Stays abreast of customer stories - surfacing new use cases for Elastic’s technology.
  • Collaborates with the executive team to develop financial messaging and ensure consistent and accurate communication of the company's financial results and growth prospects to the investment community.
  • Works on other communications projects, both internal and external as needed.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 7+ years relevant work experience gained in finance communications; ideally this candidate would have experience and writing expertise for an investor audience
  • Tech industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate and present materials and concepts in a clear, effective, and persuasive manner
  • Proactive idea generator and critical thinker
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple work streams at a fast pace, with acute attention to detail, completeness and accuracy


Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

These ranges representthe lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:
$202,900 USD
$243,300 USD
