Microsoft Operations

Your Key Responsibilities:

Reselling Operations and Management:

  • Lead the execution of the Microsoft software resale program
  • Manage and report on status and health of the business
  • Lead pricing support for bids
  • Support deal review and contracting
  • Perform reselling onboarding for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and provisioning of necessary licenses.
  • Manage client and reseller relationships, addressing day-to-day licensing needs including tenant assignment, coordination of orders and invoices, and management of portals with embedded customer details and price lists.
  • Manage and activate support processes related to products licensing and ensure resolution with key stakeholders
  • Oversee the client reselling billing process monthly. This includes producing billing reports, validating invoices, ensuring appropriate governance tracking, & coordinating internal cost recovery efforts.
  • Help define, monitor, and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee the delivery of services to ensure they meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, technology partners, and alliance providers to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of reselling solutions in EY Canada.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Americas Operations team, Global Delivery Services (GDS), indirect distributors, engagement teams, etc.) to ensure clients purchase the appropriate licenses for their entire customer lifecycle, focusing on Microsoft, ServiceNow, Snowflake, and SAP products.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure precise and timely provisioning of licenses in customer tenants, including handling customer paperwork and ensuring compliance with reselling requirements.


Skills and Attributes for Success:

Experience:

  • Excellent understanding of product reselling and various Microsoft technology platforms
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to build effective teams and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to engage and lead complex decision-making processes with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to direct, train, and mentor others.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative and effective team player with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.

Service Management Skills:

  • Proficiency in tools like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira for monitoring, measuring, and reporting service metrics.
  • Understanding and applying ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices for IT service management.
  • Analyzing service performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and to make informed decisions.
  • Creating detailed reports and dashboards to communicate service performance to stakeholders.
  • Experience in defining, monitoring, and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure service quality.
  • Overseeing the delivery of services to ensure they meet client expectations and standards.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including technical teams, reselling distributors, legal, compliance, and alliance partners globally.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identifying areas for improvement in service delivery processes and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve service offerings.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or technology.


Please note that a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry or professional services, is desirable.
