Key job responsibilities
* Own the customer intake, planning, development, release, and operations of web sites and tools that support the software development lifecycle
* Create longer-term visions and roadmaps for your team and to inform the broader organizational goals
* Collaborate with other managers, UX designers, product managers, and UX researchers to help create customer-obsessed solutions by sharing your insights
* Be a strategic partner by becoming a domain expert within the software builder experience
* Be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience building web applications with React and modern web technologies
