About the Role

The Automation Analyst role is a unique opportunity to help the EMEA Eats business continue to scale rapidly while still maintaining high efficiency. You will be responsible for identifying strategic, scalable processes with local operation teams to automate them end-to-end across the region. With clear goals of driving efficiencies and improving the customer experience, you’ll have flexibility in determining the top projects we need to be prioritizing as a region.

What You'll Do

• Work with Central & local Operations teams to identify which processes should be automated.
• Build prototypes quickly (in Python). And improve the code in an iterative manner.
• Build interactive tools with interfaces like Google Sheets, Slack Bots, Flask Apps etc.
• Use internal and external APIs correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain existing automations that are used across our EMEA markets and globally

Basic Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an IT technical analyst, data scientist, data analyst, or similar profiles.
• Proficiency in programming skills (Python).
• Proficiency in engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with programming in Go Lang
• Experience in building automations from scratch
• Solid understanding of event streaming, asynchronous frameworks, and observability
