Apple Software Engineering Manager - Analytics Platform

Description
As the manager for the analytics platform team, you will enable the continued innovation and progress within the platform through research and development. You will manage the plans for the execution, test and roll-out of the solutions. A strong technical foundation is needed to provide guidance in design and development of large-scale analytics tools for rapid data analysis. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging engineering problems across a broad range of Apple products. Responsibilities will also include managing, mentoring, and growing the team of software engineers. The team will depend on your ability to create and foster a healthy and collaborative culture, where individuals will be encouraged to take ownership of their projects and drive them to success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in developing production software (C, C++, Python or Java)
  • 5+ years of experience working with distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking to solve challenging problems
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience managing Engineering teams
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
