As a Vice President on the Transformation Team withing CDAO, you will be responsible for supporting successful execution and completion of projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing the strategic vision and goals for the project management function within the organization.
  • Leadership: Providing leadership and guidance to the project management team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners.
  • Resource Allocation : Overseeing the allocation of resources across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Risk Management : Identifying and managing high-level risks and issues that could impact the organization's projects and strategic objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establishing performance metrics and monitoring the progress and success of projects across the organization.
  • I nnovation and Improvement : Driving innovation and continuous improvement within the project management function, adopting new methodologies and technologies.
  • Reporting : Providing regular updates and reports to the executive team and board of directors on project performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Mentorship: Mentoring and developing the skills of project managers and other team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive project success.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives and board members.
  • Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Risk Management : Expertise in identifying and managing risks, with the ability to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading change management initiatives, with the ability to drive organizational transformation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools, as well as emerging technologies that can enhance project management practices.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience within a data and/or analytics organization, or specific strategy project experience in the field of data and/or analytics
  • Experience and technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture preferred
  • MBA and/or advanced degree from a top-tier program
