As part of Citi’s Executive Talent Acquisition team and acting as an Executive Talent Acquisition Partner you will be responsible for covering executive hires across Global Markets & Services (Securities Services and Treasury and Trade Solutions).

You will be in charge of senior hires that are defined as Managing Director and critical leadership Director-level hiring. Your responsibilities will entail a combination of executive talent sourcing and pipelining, succession planning for executive seats, market intelligence collation and mapping, high touch stakeholder and candidate management, and driving the efficiency of the recruitment process to meet critical metrics related to operational excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Own end to end recruitment activity, covering identification, screening, assessment, offer management and onboarding.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Global Markets and Services to deliver senior talent to the business.
  • Serve as a point of contact with Human Resources Partners (HR), Talent Acquisition, Mobility and Compensation partners to effectively onboard senior talent.
  • Engage global candidates, maintain knowledge of industry developments and people moves.
  • Enable Citi’s representation goals and keeping diversity, in all its forms, at the heart of decision-making. Work with Diversity teams to facilitate slate processes as well as promote and manage internal mobility processes.
  • Work with Talent management on succession planning initiatives for critical roles.
  • Help drive creative strategies to achieve the best senior talent outcomes (through direct sourcing, referrals, succession planning tools, networking etc). Build and maintain a strong network of executive level talent.
  • Provide market and candidate intelligence, that enables hiring decisions to be made.
  • Build pools of talent for both products, making use of networking and database tools to manage this talent.
  • Data governance (Workday, trackers, aging reports etc).
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

  • Significant in-house executive talent acquisition and/or retained executive search experience.
  • Global network and knowledge of senior talent within Markets and / or Securities Services and Treasury and Trade Solutions.
  • Experience of engaging with senior candidates, and presenting this talent to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to consistently identify and attract passive candidates.
  • Previous experience in working with compensation structures and the creation of competitive offers, understanding deferrals, buy outs and bonus structures.
  • Being passionate about the need for greater diverse and inclusive senior talent for business success and being able to articulate this effectively internally and externally.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

  • University degree or equivalent experience is preferable
