Responsibilities:

• Software development of AI solutions on Qualcomm products that enable optimized execution of machine learning models.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Ideal candidates for this position will demonstrate the following:

• Knowledge of neural networks architectures, training and deployment workflows.

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like - PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX.

• Understanding of ML graph optimization techniques.

• Experience with developing data and training pipelines.

• 3-5+ years' programming experience using Python & C/C++.

• Proven experience in development of new features from initial feature specification and use-case analysis through commercial delivery of software. Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle

• Object oriented design and development skills

• Debugging and analysis skills, for root causing complex issues

• Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools, such as Git, Repo

• Experience with enhancements to ML Training Frameworks and/or backends

• Strong communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with different NN architectures CNNs, RNNs/LSTMs, Diffusion Models, LLMs, LVMs, etc.

• Experience profiling software and identifying / resolving bottlenecks and optimizing performance and resource utilization

• Understanding of linear algebra and mathematics relevant for machine learning.

• Linux software development

• Experience with embedded platforms such as Android a plus

• Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests

Pay range:

$133,500.00 - $200,500.00
