As we grow globally, we have increasing opportunities to communicate with and delight our members and prospective members in new ways. Several key levers for commerce growth include driving anticipation for content (shows, movies, games and Live), winning back members, and providing a seamless signup experience that effectively communicates the value of the Netflix service, making it easier for both prospective and returning members to determine the right plan for their needs. As the Product Manager, Commerce Acquisition, you will be responsible for sign up journey, end to end innovation, and new experience development.

As a Product Manager, you will be expected to design, strategize, execute, and prioritize projects. You should be comfortable at the hub of a fast-paced environment where you interface daily with cross-functional experts. You can build consensus and alignment but are not afraid to push ahead when there remain some critics and lead in the face of ambiguity.

As a Product Manager at Netflix, you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic acquisition roadmap, transforming product concepts from initial ideas through validation, launch, measurement, and iteration.

  • Lead a cross-functional team of stunning colleagues in design, engineering, consumer insights, and data science to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

  • Adopt a global perspective on the potential customer base, leveraging personalization and localization strategies to improve acquisition and revenue.

  • Collaborate with data science partners to build business cases and assess the impact of product innovations.

  • Collaborate with data science and finance strategy teams to develop A/B tests, an experimentation roadmap, and predictive models.

  • Author strategy memos and presentations to communicate your team’s work to senior executives.

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and collaborate with consumer insights and design partners to address them.

  • Collaborate with Algorithm Product Managers to enhance signup flow experiences by tailoring them to customer personas and specific market needs.

  • Set the product roadmap with a focus on enhancing conversion rates for non-members and former members across all platforms (e.g., TV, native apps, web).

  • Develop modular, scalable, and effective conversion flows across platforms and partner experiences.

  • Standardize critical user experiences and features while allowing for customization and optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with the Pricing and Plans team to maximize revenue.

  • Support and drive engagement with major launches and live events.

  • Make key decisions regarding the product roadmap and rollout strategies.

  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, including business case development, design, research, testing, and iteration, on a global scale.

Ideal Skills:

  • Passion for Growth, Customer Lifecycle Management, Product, LTV Maximization, and/or Behavioral Science!

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven record of prioritizing and successfully launching impactful products or platforms.

  • Experience with growth, acquisition, lifecycle optimization, plans, monetization in a direct-to-consumer business, preferably with global scope where the consumer is paying for the service

  • Strategic thinker with a healthy blend of deep technical knowledge with customer-focused mindset and empathy

  • Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a cross-functional team - your ability to build strong relationships is critical to success.

  • Insatiable curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask ‘why'

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will write and speak a lot!

  • Comfortable using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives

  • Has strong instincts for outstanding customer experience

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
