Deal Structuring: Partner with legal, finance, R&D, and commercial teams to structure and negotiate deal terms that align with corporate strategy and financial goals.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify and assess new business opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders including R&D, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on valuation assumptions and strategic fit.
Executive Communication: Present valuation analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Your experience and qualifications
Advanced degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Life Sciences (MBA, CFA, PhD, or equivalent preferred).
Minimum of 12 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or investment banking within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Deep understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, NPV, comparables, risk-adjusted models) and deal structuring.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and financial modeling skills.
Proven track record of leading complex transactions and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with early-stage and late-stage asset valuation.
Familiarity with regulatory and clinical development pathways.
Prior involvement in licensing or M&A transactions in the life sciences sector.
