Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead Global team and define Sourcing Category Strategy for $315M for Software
- Demonstrate and lead cross functional collaboration, partnership and proactive business engagement with key stakeholders on sub-category strategy requirements and key initiatives
- Responsible for execution, monitoring, reporting and creating a plan for key priorities including: cost savings initiatives, AWT, supplier relationship management, contracting, risk mitigation, sustainability and creating improvement plans where needed
- Demonstrate knowledge in this category and clear understanding of key market dynamics and trends within these sub-categories and how that correlates to GE HealthCare and its landscape
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions
- Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Ability to lead cross functional projects and lead teams in complex decision making on important initiatives leading to desired outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members or direct reports.
- Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Commodity Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience 10 years).
- For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
