What You’ll DoAs a senior technical writer (7+ years’ experience) at Cisco, you will:
- Drive a unified content strategy. Establish standardized release processes, content development best practices, and delivery and feedback mechanisms in the team.
- Define content quality goals and track metrics.
- Identify the significantly complex information needs of target audiences, develop appropriate content plans, and manage the execution of those plans.
- Perform resource workload assessment and balancing across projects.
- Create high-quality technical content for complex product and solution deployment needs.
- Take on special projects/stretch assignments outside the scope of regular tasks.
- Contribute towards strategies for enhancing content quality, usability, and next-gen content offerings.
- Demonstrate proven ability in team building and the mentoring of junior writers.
