Your key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and prepare legal analyses and opinions on specific situations in various areas of law
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide legal support to internal professional service line
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Monitor and ensure compliance with, and reporting on, Croatian legal regulations and regulatory requirements within EY, including notifications and registrations towards state authorities
- Prepare corporate law documentation, including filings to the Commercial Register
- Provide training sessions on legal compliance and best practices.
- Cover the personal data protection agenda and anti-money laundering
- Provide employment related advice
- Cooperate on drafting and updating internal regulations, and make recommendations for processes and procedures, as necessary
Skills and attributes for success
- Law degree
- Min 3-5 related working experience (preferably in law office)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
