Description
In this role you will: - Identify and drive improvements in silicon-based characterization methodology.- Design, execute and communicate plans to perform characterization work.- Configure system HW and SW for silicon characterization.- Lead failure triage and debug of underlying issues.- Develop, maintain, and improve automation tools.- Lead productization for Vdroop and peak current mitigation features on silicon.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS + 10 Years relevant experience
- Experience debugging hardware and software issues in an embedded system
- Scripting experience in python or TCL/expect
Preferred Qualifications
- Highly familiar with power-management techniques such as dynamic clock & power gating and dynamic voltage frequency scaling including but not limited for peak current management and Vdroop mitigation
- Experience with lab equipment
- Data analysis and visualization
- Ability to work well on a team, take responsibility, and motivate self and others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with device physics, transistor behavior, and leakage/dynamic power
- Experience with Power/Performance Estimation and Optimization
- Experience reading schematics
- Experience with performance monitor features
- Experience with power measurements
- Expertise with system and SoC architectures
