Global Shares Automation and Transformation Associate is an individual contributor role. As an associate for Global Shares program in Operational Transformation & Strategy (OTS) team you will support the Global Shares Operations Workstream with the integration of Investment Solutions by participating in projects and providing support for various initiatives. You may be involved in multiple projects or initiatives, working across the whole project lifecycle, identifying new transformation / automation opportunities, or system modifications, execute automation and transformation solutions on Alteryx/Unqork/UiPath/Python. Through strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technology counterparts you will work on project deliverables that are aligned with business and technology strategies. The associate will assist stakeholders in documentation for detailing requirements and business priorities, documentation of test plan and test cases, release notes and user guides. This role will require an ability to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with the senior management team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the 100+ backlog of tactical and strategic GS automation opportunities that have been identified
  • Identifying new transformation / automation opportunities through current / future state process assessment
  • Process modelling using Signavio to document current and future state of the business processes as an when required
  • Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Finance, Technology, CoEs and Senior Management for delivery of automation / transformation projects
  • Develop automation and transformation solutions on low code tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, Python, Unqork
  • Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions
  • Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participate in driving resolution of mitigating controls
  • Work with business partners to design and implement enhancements to existing processes and/or business applications, introduce new processes and/or toolsets, and engage in process re-engineering
  • Define user acceptance test plans and test cases, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing and interpret, assess, and communicate results to enable signoff on deliverables
  • Provide implementation support, inclusive of testing and process change management, and ensure those implementations meet requirements established by Oversight and Control partners
  • Build strong partnerships with control partners, technology partners, OTS CoE teams and business
  • Work with minimal direction/independently, keeping management informed of progress and escalate issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Total 6-10 years of work experience with at least 3 years in business analysis of automation / transformation related opportunities
  • Ability to identifying new transformation / automation opportunities through current / future state process assessment / process re-engineering / root cause analysis
  • Extensive experience using Intelligent Automation tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, Signavio for Process Modeling, etc. and willing to learn in case of skill gap
  • Ability to analyze with attention to detail and get to the root cause, challenge status quo to re-imagine the current state
  • Detail oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform cost benefit analysis through data collection & synthesis and propose short and long term benefit
  • Experience on process modelling or willing to learn Signavio if not trained already
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize issues/workload
  • High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work independently
  • Project activity and schedule may require weekend work from time-to-time.
  • Specific project activity may include:
    • Documenting current and future state operating models
    • Developing and delivering client and internal communications
    • Research and clarify business requirements so technology can deliver appropriate technical solutions.
    • Planning and coordinating UAT and regression testing for key applications
    • Metrics reporting and status tracking
    • Lead progress status meetings at the operational and project level.

Preferred

  • Experience managing complex projects preferably within the fintech industry
  • Familiarity with Asset & Wealth Management businesses, systems, tools, processes
