As a Mixing Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Process, blend & weigh off raw materials for non-defective super abrasive grinding wheels and products to meet customer specifications and demands.
• Operates mixing and weighing equipment and machines.
• Locates, picks and stages raw materials.
• In accordance with written manufacturing orders and procedures, weighs, mixes, and processes dry ingredients used in the formulation of all material matrixes used in the department.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Interested and available in working four-ten-hour morning shifts (6:00 AM– 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday)
• Interested and available to work overtime as needed

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience in a manufacturing, private, public, government or military environment, preferably in non-woven fibers, web coating or a related industry.
