Qualifications

• ​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.​
• 4+ years of experience with distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms.

• This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

• ​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing service architecture on containers utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of experience with distributed systems.
• Design, implementation and communication skills with experience in SQL .
• Experience in Cloud service offerings.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects across high-performing engineering teams is preferred.
• Work collaboratively, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions, and celebrate successes.
• Excited solving difficult technical problems.
• Solve problems by always leading with passion and empathy for customers.

• Design, implement, deploy, and operate services, microservices and components.
